Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. Across Georgia, IOM provides a comprehensive response to the humanitarian needs of migrants, internally displaced persons, returnees and host communities.

IOM and the Agency for State Care and Assistance for the (Statutory) Victims of Human Trafficking signed a Memorandum
IOM and the Agency for State Care and Assistance for the (Statutory) Victims of Human Trafficking signed a Memorandum of Understanding on 9 October, to ensure protection and support for victims of trafficking.
The Memorandum was signed by the director of the Agency for State Care and Assistance for the (Statutory) Victims of Human Trafficking, Meri Maghlaperidze and the Chief of Mission of the IOM, Sanja Celebic Lukovac.
Two organizations have been in a close partnership as support of the international organization in terms of trafficking is very important.
