Meeting with the State Representative in Kakheti Region
On 11 June the IOM Georgia Chief of Mission Ms. Sanja Celebic Lukovac and National Programme Coordinator Ms. Natia Kvitsiani met with the State Representative in Kakheti Region. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the opportunities of engaging Georgian Diaspora in local social and economic development. The IOM Georgia representative presented to the State Representative the activities, implemented and planned in Kakheti Region under the EU-funded projects. The State Representative expressed readiness for cooperation. Specific directions of cooperation and terms for implementation of joint activities were identified during the meeting.
