About the Installed Equipment

The installation process was divided into two components: development of infrastructure, and procurement and installation of gym equipment. As a result of the activity, the Temporary Accommodation Centre of MIA Migration Department possesses two separate outdoor gym facilities (total cost EUR 22,000) that will be used for workout by female and male migrants while enjoying recreational hours.

Outdoor gym facilities will help the MIA Migration Department to offer more opportunities for outdoor activities to all accommodated migrants at the center, who have been administratively detained and may experience extended stay, while waiting for expulsion decision and/or replacement of expired or lost travel documents.
