Our WorkAs the leading inter-governmental organization promoting humane and orderly migration, IOM plays a key role to support the achievement of the 2030 Agenda through different areas of intervention that connect both humanitarian assistance and sustainable development. IOM Discusses Priority Areas for Cooperation with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia
IOM Georgia Chief of Mission, Sanja Celebic Lukovac, together with IBM Senior Programme Manager, Massimo Ramanzin, IBM Programme Officer, Zezva Meskhi and Project Manager, Maja Wiebler, met with the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze on 21 October. During the introductory meeting, parties discussed ongoing cooperation in the field of migration governance and border management, as well as priority areas for future activities.
