IOM presents new pilot project “Sustainable Reintegration and Community Revitalization in Communities of Return” to the Deputy Governor of Kakheti region and Head of Administration
On 2 April 2021 IOM Georgia Chief of Mission - Sanja Celebic Lukovac and IOM Georgia Programme Coordinator - Natia Kvitsiani met with Deputy Governor of Kakheti region - Platon Kalmakhelidze and Head of Administration - Nino Utiashvili.
The meeting was held at the Administration of the State Representative, where IOM representatives presented the new pilot project “Sustainable Reintegration and Community Revitalization in Communities of Return”, which aims to contribute to the reintegration efforts of the Government of Georgia and empower migrants and communities to act as development actors.
The project is funded by the IOM Development Fund (IDF) and Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The two sides expressed readiness to extend collaboration and take joint steps forward.
