The Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) and IOM donate personal protective equipment with a total value of 370 000 GEL to the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia
The Swiss State Secretariat for Migration (SEM), together with project implementer International Organization for Migration (IOM), have donated personal protective equipment with a total value of 100 000 CHF (370 000 GEL) to the Revenue Service of the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.
The donated items include face masks, respirators, gloves, medical gowns, medical overalls etc. This equipment will specifically benefit the RS Customs Department frontline officials tasked to perform epidemiological control measures at the border crossing points of Georgia to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
This activity was conducted in the framework of the IOM project “Supporting the Government of Georgia’s COVID-19 Response in Migration and Border Management”, implemented through the financial contribution of the Swiss State Secretariat for Migration.
